We are not required to appoint a data protection officer under Section 38 BDSG. For any question about data protection, please reach us via the routes above.

This website is served by Netlify. In the process, server logs are generated: IP address, the date and time of the request, the address requested, the volume of data transferred, and browser and operating-system identifiers. These are technically necessary in order to deliver the site and to fend off attacks.

The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a secure and functioning web presence (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). The logs are deleted after 30 days at the latest and are not combined with any other data.

The site is served exclusively over HTTPS. The connection between your browser and the server is encrypted; you can tell by the padlock symbol in the address bar.

When you submit the form you send us the type of project, your name, a phone number or email address, the location of the property, and your message. We use these details solely to answer your enquiry and to prepare for a possible project.

The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (steps taken at your request prior to a possible contract) and, where it is purely a matter of making contact, Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR.

Your details go into our customer management system (Zoho CRM, processed in its European data centre) so that no enquiry is lost and handling stays traceable. If the form cannot confirm delivery, it keeps your entries. The email link shown lets you open a prepared message in your email programme and send it directly to us.

We keep your details for as long as your enquiry is being handled, and beyond that only where commercial or tax retention periods require it.

If you call, write an email, or tap the WhatsApp button, the conversation takes place outside this website. The site itself records nothing in the process.

With WhatsApp, WhatsApp Ireland Ltd. processes your phone number and the content of the conversation under that service’s own terms; we have no influence over this. If you would rather it did not, please use the phone, email or the enquiry form – all three routes suit us equally well.

The Montserrat, Archivo and Source Serif typefaces are hosted on our own server. Your browser loads no Google Fonts when it opens this site, and makes no connection to Google.

There are no analytics tools here, no advertising pixels, and no embedded maps, videos or social media widgets. We do not build profiles, we make no automated decisions within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR, and we pass nothing on to advertisers.

This website sets no cookies – neither its own nor those of third parties.

Your browser only remembers three items in session storage, so that the site behaves correctly as you click through: whether you have already seen the entrance screen (feb-gate-done), whether sound is on or off (feb-audio), and where the audio track has got to (feb-audio-time).

These items never leave your device, do not identify you, and are deleted as soon as you close the tab. Because they serve only the function you triggered yourself, no consent is required for them. You can delete them at any time via the “Cookies” button at the foot of the page.

Netlify (hosting and delivery): a data processing agreement is in place. Where data reaches the USA in the process, the transfer is based on the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.

Zoho (customer management): processed in its European data centre, likewise under a data processing agreement.

Beyond that, we pass your details on only where you have consented, where we are legally obliged to, or where a specialist firm we have engaged needs them in order to carry out your project.

You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20), and objection to processing based on a legitimate interest (Art. 21).

You can withdraw consent once given at any time with effect for the future. An informal message to project@franke-eurobau.de is enough.

You may also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. The authority responsible for us is the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of North Rhine-Westphalia, Kavalleriestrasse 2–4, 40213 Düsseldorf.
